What does that mean for you, our partners? Many good things and some logistical changes! Let’s touch on the main points shall we?
Why we are making a move to Rackspace:
- Rackspace has infrastructure physically located in all the regions BVoIP currently has partners
- Rackspace is #1 in managed cloud and has data centers worldwide
- Rackspace has award winning Fanatical Support and this relationship will consolidate BVoip’s efforts to work with a single vendor for all regions.
New Benefits to BVoIP Partners
- Obviously, you all benefit for the strength of the Rackspace data centers and network
- A recognizable name that you can position better to your customers
- A documented SLA for facility, power, and network uptime
- Customer facing marketing that you can distribute
- A new program that allows BVoIP partners to take advantage of Rackspace offerings for other client needs (This is pretty exciting!!)
When are we making the move?
- As you can imagine, it’s not an overnight process!
- BVoIP has developed a migration schedule with Rackspace on a region by region basis
- UK & Australia will go first, North America East Coast second, and North America Central and West third.
- BVoIP will be contacting all partners to explain further details around the migration plan for their environments.
