For BVoIP Partners utilizing Unified Management Platform along with the UNITE we have rolled out an updated version of the app.Three things in the new app now written on a new code base to consider:
We have updated our remote UI feature to allow for easier adoption of newer devices without a lot of heavy lifting. We also have made some adjustments to coincide with the newest Polycom VVX firmware changes to maintain UI accessibility.
We have always had an option to run UNITE as a service but that was problematic when you launched the UI as well. Now the changes have been made so that the app doesn't seem to be running twice when this occurs. As a result we have also noticed the app takes less resources to run.
In the newest version of UNITE we have limited the remote phone UI access to a certain time period for security purposes. Every time you try to access the UI a new session is created with a unique string which has a new time period.
BVoIP partners can access the new UNITE version via our Central Management Portal.
