If your customer runs into an issue while your staff is outside of normal support hours how do you get notified? Do you staff a 24/7 support team? Do you use an outside vendor? What happens if something needs to be escalated to your internal team? Do you use an answering service? Do you send calls to a voicemail box and hope that someone gets the message?
Critical System Alerts
How are you being alerted with issues that get flagged by your monitoring systems? What about things like site offline, hard drive failure imminent, backup failures, and alike? These are the types of things that are time sensitive and require quick turn-around to make sure that issues don’t turn into disasters.
